What QC covers at Okeyhaul, and what it does not
QC needs to be read against the published scope. Okeyhaul describes an appearance check, with exclusions that matter when deciding whether to order an item.
The published scope is appearance only, such as model, style and size. Quoted directly: Okeyhaul will only arrange inspection for product's appearance, likes model, style, and size.
Three categories are stated as not opened at all: anything that is not a garment, bag, suitcase or shoe; anything in a sealed package; anything with sealing strips on it. So a sealed box arrives as the seller sealed it, and the photographs you receive are photographs of a box.
For electronics the exclusion is spelled out rather than implied: For household appliances, digital products, or other electronic products, the inspection does not include checking authenticity, function, and quality.
That is three separate things a check does not tell you, and authenticity is one of them.

Reading them
How to read the QC photographs you are sent
The photographs arrive when the goods arrive at the Shenzhen warehouse. You get one look, and what you are looking for depends on what the published check already covered. Four passes, in this order.
Check what the check checked
For a garment, Okeyhaul states it looks at colour, size, large-area damage, other common major issues. If one of those is visibly wrong in the photograph, you have a case now, and raising it later is harder.
Check your size against your own words, not your intention
Size is judged against the final comment or last amendment on the order. If you never stated a size, nothing can have failed. Go and read your own remark before arguing about a size.
Do not waste the look on the excluded list
Okeyhaul states it is not responsible for colour difference, loose threads, other tiny issues. Those are real disappointments and they are also published exclusions, so the photograph is not where that fight happens.
For electronics, count the accessories and stop
The published check is all necessary accessories present and physical damage. Function and quality are explicitly not included, so count what is in the frame and accept that the rest is unknown until it reaches you.

It is a re-check, not a refund, and it is time sensitive.
Four shipping methods, and what each one is for
Okeyhaul publishes four, not three. The fourth gets left out of most summaries, which matters because it is the one that trades a little speed for a real saving.
| Shipping method | What it is suited to |
|---|---|
| Air freight | fastest of the four, suited to light, high-value or urgent goods |
| Sea freight | slower, cheaper per kilo, suited to large, heavy, non-urgent goods |
| Courier service | door to door, fast, suited to parcels and documents |
| Multimodal transport | two or more modes combined, such as sea plus land, to trade speed against cost |
On how to choose between them, the pages put the choice down to the nature, weight, volume, value and urgency of the goods, and the destination. That is a more honest answer than a single recommendation, because the right method genuinely depends on the parcel.
Getting a number before you commit
Okeyhaul publishes a freight estimate page, and it is the right place to settle an argument with yourself about a method. Two things to carry into it.
First, the figure it returns is freight, and freight is only one of the four parts of a total. Packaging and any value-added service sit outside it, and the goods and their domestic leg were paid earlier. The four parts are set out here.
Second, enter dimensions honestly. A volumetric figure calculated on the carton you hope for is not an estimate, it is a wish. If you are unsure of the packed size, work the volume formula on the larger guess and let the real parcel come in under it.

Check destination customs requirements before shipping
Do not use an old agent help-table as a current tax exemption. Charges and import conditions depend on the destination, contents, value and route. Check your customs authority and the current route terms, and budget for charges outside the freight quote.
Keep the seller invoice and confirm that the declared description and value accurately represent the goods. Ask the agent how its declaration process works before you approve shipment.
Who decides what your parcel says it is
Not you. Okeyhaul states that the platform picks the declaration, the buyer does not, and quotes its own standard: The platform will independently make reasonable declarations for users based on the tariff thresholds of various countries and the declaration standards of international logistics providers.
The pages also give three examples of what it considers unreasonable, and they are specific enough to be useful: three pairs of shoes declared at one dollar; a ten kilo parcel declared as a ring; a declared value far above what was actually paid. Read that list as a description of requests that will be refused rather than as a menu.
Confirm the declaration process and possible destination charges before you approve shipment. The agent’s recorded declaration wording is not a current statement of customs law.

Questions about checks and carriers
Does QC tell me whether the item is genuine?
No, and Okeyhaul does not claim it does. The published scope is appearance, and for electronics authenticity is named as an explicit exclusion.
My parcel was sealed, so the photos show a box. Is that normal?
Yes, and it is published rather than accidental. Sealed packages, items with sealing strips and anything that is not a garment, bag, case or shoe are stated as not opened.
Which shipping method should I pick?
Whichever one matches the parcel rather than the mood. Okeyhaul puts the choice down to the nature, weight, volume, value and urgency of the goods and the destination, and that is the correct answer even though it is not a satisfying one.
My country has a zero threshold. Should I split the parcel?
Compare packing and route quotes for the actual contents. Splitting creates another parcel charge and does not remove destination import requirements.
Track the parcel and protect the delivery record
Save the parcel ID, route, final invoice and carrier tracking number. A created label may precede carrier collection. For a stalled parcel, send support the last tracking event and date and ask which stage needs investigation.
At delivery, check the package condition and contents. Photograph damage, the label and any missing items; retain the packaging and report the issue under the route’s current claim deadline. Keep an unboxing record if the terms request one.
